JOSH WADE announces two intimate and rare shows in Sydney next month!
Oct 25, 2017After a year of sold out shows across the country Josh Wade returns to Sydney for 2 nights only in this intimate and rare experience.
Josh has created a huge online following with tens of millions of hits throughout social media with his weird and wacky, yet truthful observations of society. His million+ fans always turn out to see his various characters takes to the stage. With shows that have spanned a range across everything from the autobiographical I’m Josh Wade to the character-driven, multi-media Me, Myself & Cunny, Josh has showcased his wide range of talents in his live shows.
Now, after 4 years of playing ‘Cunny’ it’s now time for Josh to take the spotlight. Part stand-up, part Q & A and part storytime - this 60 minute show is the ultimate chance to get up close and personal with Josh as he gives being Josh a go live for the first time in an intimate setting, and enjoy watching this work in progress being shaped into next years’ Comedy Festival show!
THE WOKE BLOKE
Performing at: Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Sydney Comedy Festival
Comedian, podcaster and content creator Josh Wade is back with a brand new show The Woke Bloke. After four years of playing his comedic counterpart Cunny, it’s time for Josh to shed the mask and take the spotlight. Part stand-up, part Q&A, part story-time - this 60 minute show is the ultimate chance to get up close and personal with Josh as he tackles the subjects nobody wants to touch. 9/11, the Church, Military Industrial Complex, Satanic Cults and New World Order - are these theories or do they hold some truth? Fact, fiction, conspiracy - the self-proclaimed Woke Bloke Josh Wade connects the dots, to prove and disprove, in this unique audio-visual show.
In 2017 Josh performed to sold out crowds across the nation's comedy festivals and his own 15-date regional tour and released his debut podcast, The Josh Wade Show (formerly known as The Cunspiracy Podcast.) With over 650,000 views across its first 34 episodes on Youtube, The Josh Wade Show consistently sits in the Top 40 Comedy Podcasts on iTunes. Josh, who is currently listed in the Top 100 Australian YouTubers, has earned himself one of the largest comedy fan bases in Australia gathering over 1 million online followers. This young comedian has cemented himself as a worldwide prospect for Australian comedy and beyond.
