Frenchy Adds Brisbane, Perth And Adelaide Shows To Upcoming Sex, Drugs & Rollerblades Tour This March-April
Feb 22, 2018Comedian and viral content creator Frenchy is back - bigger, better and lankier than ever! After selling out his 2017 Australian festival seasons, Edinburgh Fringe and a successful regional tour of Australia, Frenchy is ready to hit the road again with a brand new show full of stories and jokes you won’t be able to repeat the next day - Sex, Drugs & Rollerblades.
In addition to his already announced Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Sydney Comedy Festival shows, Frenchy will be bringing his killer one-liners and bogan ballads to Brisbane’s Sit Down Comedy Club (Fri 13 + Sat 14 Apr), Perth’s Octagon Theatre (Fri 20 Apr) and Adelaide’s Arkaba (Sat 21 Apr.) Tickets to all shows are on sale now.
★★★★½ ‘From the moment the blonde beanpole bounded onto the stage, the audience was enraptured, hanging upon every vulgar word.’ - Impulse Gamer
‘Inappropriate at every level yet hilariously relatable and so very, very Australian, Frenchy works his extremely diverse crowd like no other. With cringe-worthy jokes that you just know you shouldn’t laugh at, to straight up side splitters, his comedy is incomparable, unpredictable, offensive and downright humorous gold.’ - Scenestr
In addition to touring and creating weekly videos for his Youtube channel, on 19 February Frenchy released his debut album, Bangerz & Trash, with his band Frenchy & The Talent which has been described as “unexpected, pleasant satire disguised as rock hits that will have you rocking out to the music as well as laughing in hysteria” (Lunchbox TV.)
Last year, Frenchy’s narrative comedy web-series The Australiana Hostel was one of five recipients of Google and Screen Australia’s ‘Skip Ahead’ initiative- a program which awards winners up to a quarter of a million dollars to help fund and produce original narrative-based content made specifically for global audiences.
‘Frenchy is a quintessential showman, with a sharp wit that is wrapped in Australiana.’ - Forte Magazine
‘good, dirty, bogan humour...Honestly, I would be happy to watch the exact same show again – and would probably laugh just as much the second time round.’ - Forte Magazine
Don’t miss your chance to see “master of the stage” (Weekend Notes) Frenchy’s new show Sex, Drugs & Rollerblades at a town near you this March through April!
