CLEAN BANDIT announce GLADES as special guest for debut Australian shows in January 2018!
Dec 20, 2017Frontier Touring is incredibly excited to reveal that Sydney trio GLADES will be taking the stage this January as special guest to one of the biggest names in electronic music, Clean Bandit, for all shows on their East Coast headline tour.
Karina Wykes, Cameron Robertson, and Joseph Wenceslao first met in high school before forming GLADES in 2015. Early singles, ‘Her (Loving You)’ and ‘Drive’ garnered massive attention from tastemakers like Billboard, Hype Machine and Pigeons and Planes. Reviews catapulted GLADES to air on triple j and receive tens of millions Spotify streams.
“If I was directing a film that was described as ‘a coming-of-age love story’, I’d definitely use [‘Drive’] in the soundtrack” ★★★★ - Dom Alessio, triple j
Their debut EP This Is What It’s Like (EMI) was released late last year, delivering more of their acclaimed atmospheric synths, reverb-laden guitars, tender lyrics and complex beats in tracks such as ‘Speechless’ and ‘Summer Air’.
2017 has kept the group busy including a collaboration with Brisbane artist Feki on ‘Love You Better’ and numerous live dates both Down Under and across the US and Canada. Latest single, ‘Do Right’ dropped just days ago, and uses their reflective, melodic electro-pop to respond with love rather than hate to some of the year’s troubling events, encouraging people to look out for others and treat each other right.
Consistently pushing boundaries of modern pop with their diverse blend of electronica, dancehall, classical, R&B and pop Clean Bandit have produced phenomenal dance floor anthems in ‘Real Love (feat. Jess Glynne)’ (certified ARIA Platinum), ‘Symphony (feat. Zara Larsson)’ (3x ARIA Platinum) and latest single ‘I Miss You (feat. Julia Michaels)’ which has already clocked over 72.4 million Spotify streams.
GLADES will join Clean Bandit for their entire 2018 Australian tour, adding their dreamy vocals and infectious beats to what’s sure to be a series of dynamic, high-energy shows. Tickets are on sale now, so don’t sleep on picking some up!

CLEAN BANDIT announce debut Australian headline shows for January 2018
Nov 15, 2017Frontier Touring is delighted to welcome one of the biggest names in electronic music to Australia this January, Clean Bandit. Performing at Stereosonic in 2015, the classically trained British string trio will finally return to Australian shores next year for their debut headline shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
Since the departure of Neil Amin-Smith in 2016, brothers Jack (bass, keyboard, vocals, piano and violin) and Luke Patterson (drums and percussion) along with Grace Chatto (cello, percussion and vocals) make up the trio of Clean Bandit.
“The amount of musical talent Clean Bandit possesses became much clearer watching them live and it became obvious that the classical elements of their music get slightly overlooked on their recorded tracks.” – Impact Nottingham
“Clean Bandit brought with them an infectious sense of fun and Grace Chatto and the girls danced as if they were getting ready for a night out – only much better.” – The Up Coming
The bands’ 2014 debut album New Eyes saw them defy expectations from the very beginning. Their experimental fusion of electronica and classical propelled Clean Bandit, creating their omnipresent global hit and 4x ARIA Platinum ‘Rather Be (feat. Jess Glynne)’. The group won the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording along with two Ivor Novello Awards.
Clean Bandit’s anthemic 2016 comeback single ‘Tears (feat. Louisa Johnson)’ emphasises the trio’s interest for juxtaposing emotion through music and lyrics. Striving to incorporate fresh sounds and textures into their emerging songbook resulted in Clean Bandit releasing their biggest single to date ‘Rockabye (feat. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie)’.
The track conquered both the UK and AU Charts debuting at #1 for nine consecutive weeks and #1 for 24 weeks respectively, with over 637 million streams on Spotify the single is certified 4x ARIA Platinum. Continuing Clean Bandit’s run within the top 20 of the Australian Charts and overcoming previous best entry of #2 for hit ‘Rather Be (feat. Jess Glynne)’, the trio have achieved an impressive four entries thus far with more only to be anticipated.
Consistently pushing boundaries of modern pop with their diverse blend of electronica, dancehall, classical, R&B and pop Clean Bandit have produced phenomenal dance floor anthems in ‘Real Love (feat. Jess Glynne)’ (certified ARIA Platinum), ‘Symphony (feat. Zara Larsson)’ (3x ARIA Platinum) and latest single ‘I Miss You (feat. Julia Michaels)’ which has already clocked just fewer than 17.5 million Spotify streams.
Clean Bandit have carved their own distinct niche in music, wining fans across the globe with their awe-inspiring style of baroque pop. Renowned for their high-energy and fun live shows, fans are encouraged to act quickly in securing their tickets for a night with one of pops most dynamic groups.
