The Frontier Touring Company is thrilled to announce the return of apl.de.ap, Fergie, Taboo and will.i.am – the quartet collectively known as The Black Eyed Peas – to Australia and New Zealand this October. Performing in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth and Auckland, this will be the band’s first tour of Australia and New Zealand since 2005, and will see The Black Eyed Peas present their most spectacular show to date; The E.N.D. World Tour.

The Black Eyed Peas will tour in support of the most successful album of their career, The E.N.D. (in store now through Universal). Building on an already stellar past that has seen the band release multi-platinum albums, a plethora of monster singles, and highly successful solo albums from Fergie and will.i.am, The E.N.D. has helped The Black Eyed Peas soar to new heights.

On The E.N.D. The Black Eyed Peas expand their musical repertoire, combining electro-hop with hip-hop and their innate ability to write unforgettable tunes, ensuring both fans of the old and of the new have fallen for their latest offering. The E.N.D. became the band’s first US album chart topper, and debuted at #1 and #2 in Australia and New Zealand respectively.

The success of lead single ‘Boom Boom Pow’ broke records around the world, sitting atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 12 consecutive weeks (and counting) and the ARIA chart for six, only to replace themselves with second single ‘I Gotta Feeling’ this week – previously a feat only achieved by ABBA, Madonna and The Beatles, and by no other artist in the 20th century.

It’s on stage, however, that The Black Eyed Peas excel most. A flurry of enthusiasm, energy and excitement, a live show by The Black Eyed Peas is not one you’ll forget overnight. The band’s last tour drew rave reviews for their originality and ability to shatter expectations.

“They expanded the parameters of hip-hop to pop and mainstream contexts, then drove it home with an explosive performance.” – Herald Sun

“…the Black Eyed Peas show transcended hip-hop’s conventions and delivered a high energy, ready-made party soundtrack.” – The Australian

“Resistance is futile” – Sydney Morning Herald

The E.N.D. World Tour promises to deliver all this and more. Housing their most sophisticated tour production to date and state of the art visual effects, The Black Eyed Peas have vowed to step it up and make this their best tour yet.

The first taste of what is to come came from the band’s weekend performance at England’s Glastonbury Festival. Thrilling fans with an elaborate stage set up, extravagant light show and a first class set list, there’s no doubt The Black Eyed Peas have raised the bar for their forthcoming tour. Game on.
