Jordin Sparks - Sydney & Melbourne 2008
TOUR DATES & TICKETINGarrow
The Frontier Touring Company is excited to announce the first live performances of platinum-selling Idol Jordin Sparks for Australian audiences. The ‘No Air’ songstress will perform intimate shows in Sydney and Melbourne this September as a special prelude to her December return in support of Alicia Keys’ Australian tour.
Showcasing an amazing vocal ability and stage presence beyond her years, Jordin makes her first visit to Australia in what promises to be an exciting and memorable teaser before she returns to tour alongside Alicia Keys. Jordin will visit Australia as part of a promo trip in support of her self-titled debut album (out now through Sony BMG).
Jordin Sparks broke into the music industry at age 17, as the youngest ever winner of American Idol in 2007. Jordin had no trouble establishing herself as a star on the rise both in her homeland, and worldwide. Following the success of her debut single ‘Tattoo’, Jordin continued to top the charts with her smash hit ‘No Air’, hitting No. 1 both in Australia, and across the world. With the release of her infectious new single “One Step at a Time”, Jordin is set to continue heating up the charts around the world.
Jordin’s special guests on this tour will be Amy Pearson (Sydney only) and Jade MacRae (Melbourne only).
Amy Pearson will open the show in Sydney. After performing Channel 7’s Olympic theme ‘Ready To Fly’, Amy will be no stranger to music fans. Expect to hear hit singles ‘Don’t Miss You’ and ‘Not Me’ taken from her ARIA top 40 album Who I Am (out now through Sony BMG).
Jade MacRae is sure to set Melbourne’s heart on fire as this sassy singer takes to the stage. Performing songs from her forthcoming album Get Me Home (released October 4 through Roadshow Music), the It Takes Two star is set to be in fine form. Head along early to witness one of Australia’s finest talents live.
Do not miss the opportunity to see Jordin Sparks play her first Australian shows in intimate club surrounds. Tickets will go on sale Wednesday 3 September.
