The Temper Trap’s new single ‘Lucky Dimes’ adds a bolder, heavier edge to their signature indie-rock sound, with frontman Dougy Mandagi’s unmistakable vocals cutting through a storm of scuzzy guitars and thumping drumbeats. The track is already a stand-out addition to their recent live shows and arrived fresh off a #11 placing for iconic, chart-topping hit ‘Sweet Disposition’ in triple j’s Hottest 100 Australian Songs of all time.

“With ‘Lucky Dimes’, The Temper Trap aren’t looking back, they’re setting the stage for an era that could hit just as hard as their first.” - Rolling Stone Australia

Recent years have seen a resurgence of love for the band. In 2021, fan favourite ‘Love Lost’was flung back into the spotlight when it appeared on Mac Miller’s posthumously re-released Faces mixtape, connecting with an entirely new audience and amassing over 400 million streams. Similarly, a wave of recent remixes for ‘Sweet Disposition’ from the likes of John Summit, Vintage Culture, VXSION and Lost Frequencies have accumulated hundreds of millions of streams, re-introducing the band to dancefloors, charts and fans across the globe.

Since the release of their seminal debut album Conditions in 2009, The Temper Trap’s sound has transcended generations, leaving a lasting imprint on popular culture across three album releases and crowds at some of the biggest festival stages globally – including Glastonbury, Lollapalooza, Primavera, Coachella, Laneway Festival, and more.

After a well-earned break and with billions of streams to their name, The Temper Trap return in 2025 to launch an electrifying new chapter. Don’t miss your chance to be among the first to experience it live!
