Last wowing Australian audiences in 2022, The Script took fans on a trip down memory lane with performances of essential tracks such as ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’, ‘For The First Time’, ‘Nothing’ and the emotionally charged ‘Breakeven’ reminding fans of the powerful songwriting that propelled The Script to become a household name.

The Script’s recently announced album, Satellites (releasing Friday 16 August via BMG Australia and available for pre-order here) marks their seventh studio album and first since the passing of beloved bandmate and guitarist Mark Sheehan. Opening track ‘Both Ways’ sees the band dabble with an energetic new sound and funky upbeat rhythms. The band followed this release with single ‘At Your Feet’, a dynamic song that takes listeners on a journey across personal lyricism, soaring choruses and intimate emotions. Stream both tracks here.

“The album cover is silhouettes of me, Glen and Ben Sargeant, our bassist, who's been with us from the beginning. Then we have a hooded silhouette, because the air of Mark is still there”, says lead singer Danny O’Donoghue on the legacy of their adored bandmate. “He always will be, but it's also giving a tip of the hat to the future. It'll never be the same Script. We're just trying to get on and do what it is that we all feel is the next right thing to do and that’s to keep making more great music.”
