Making his Australian debut this December, ALWAYS LIVE, I OH YOU, MG Live & Frontier Touring are thrilled to announce enigmatic singer-songwriter and producer, Jai Paul has added a third and final Melbourne show to his exclusive down under visit, after the first two shows completely sold out.  

Following a frenzy during the pre and general on sales last week, Jai Paul’s Australian dates are some of the hottest tickets in town. He now performs a string of back-to-back nights at Melbourne’s 170 Russell on Monday 4 December and Tuesday 5 December, with a third just-announced show on Wednesday 6 December.

Just months after performing at this year’s Coachella – his first ever live set – Jai Paul will land in Melbourne as part of the Victorian Government’s ALWAYS LIVE, a 17-day celebration of contemporary live music across Victoria.  

The cult British icon this year returned to stages across the world following a 10-year hiatus, including his first headline shows in New York and London in April and May, along with just-announced dates in California, France and Germany.

Releasing demo BTSTU to MySpace in 2007 and subsequently released via XL Recordings in 2011, Jai Paul quickly established himself in both the underground and mainstream pop scenes, gaining commercial airplay across the UK and sampled on Drake’s ‘Dreams Money Can Buy’ and Beyonce’s ‘End Of Time’. Leaving a lasting legacy and changing the game for the UK music scene, Jai Paul was catapulted onto the international stage. 

Following a leak of his upcoming project in 2013, the producer took a break from releasing music commercially, with fans desperately awaiting new music. In 2019, six years after the infamous leak, Jai made the project official, releasing ‘Leak 04-13 (Bait Ones)’ on all streaming services.  

Recently commemorating 10 years post-leak in 2023, Jai Paul released ‘Leak 04-13 (Bait Ones)’ on vinyl for the first time. With only 3000 copies available, fans rushed to get their hands on a piece of music history, proving once more that the world has always been ready for Jai Paul.
