Due to overwhelming demand, today, US alt-rockers Dinosaur Jr. announce they have added a second Melbourne show to their upcoming headline tour of Australia & New Zealand this February and March. 

Heading to Australia celebrating 30 years of their iconic album Where You Been, Dinosaur Jr. will kick off the tour in Melbourne, now performing two shows at Northcote Theatre on Friday 16 February and a new show on Saturday 17 February,  before heading to Sydney on Wednesday 21 February for a sold-out show at Enmore Theatre, to The Tivoli in Brisbane on Friday 23 February then Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall for a performance on Monday 26 February and Perth’s Astor Theatre on Wednesday 28 February. The band will finish off the tour in Auckland for a final show at Auckland Town Hall on Saturday 2 March.     

J Mascis will also perform shows in Sydney on Tuesday 20 February at Liberty Hall and Brisbane on Saturday 24 February at The Triffid. 

Dinosaur Jr. will be joined by Australian band Stepmother on all Australian dates and Auckland-based trio Office Dog for the Auckland show.
